That local flare ended up being non other than Moms on the Run.
"We're all here for the same reason and it's great to find people who are doing the same things we are," Moms on the Run volunteer Jillian Pinochio says.
Pinnochio says 98.6% percent of the money Moms on the Run raises goes right back into the local community.
Since the groups start 13 years ago they've raised about $200 million.
"We're a grassroots local organization and we really are local people helping local people," Pinochio says.
