Overnight snow brings chain controls, school delays to valley floor

A late, overnight snow has made for a dicey Monday morning commute.

Nevada chain controls

SR-341: From mile post 3.0 in Lyon County to mile post 10.8 in Storey County.
From mile post 0.0 in Washoe County to mile post 6.3 in Washoe County.

SR-431 (Mt. Rose Highway): From Slide Meadows to US 395.

I-580: From mile post 0.5 in Washoe County to mile post 6.5 in Washoe County.

I-80: From mile post 6.0 in Pershing County to Imlay.

SR-207: From US 50 junction to Dagget Pass Chain-up area.

SR-88: From mile post 0.0 in Douglas County to mile post 7.8 in Douglas County.

US-50: US-50 in both directions in Lander County Nevada on Bob Scott Summit.

School delays

Truckee Meadows Community College has cancelled all classes that start before 9 a.m. on Monday, February 12.

The Dandini Campus will open to all students and staff at 9 a.m.
