Nonprofit gets kids outdoors before new school year
RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
Reno Bike Project, a local nonprofit and community bike shop, is trying to get more people on bikes more often.
They're hosting the Major Taylor Program for kids to learn about cycling.
Throughout the course of the summer camp, kids will learn about nutrition, health, bike safety and rules of the road.
It begins on Monday, August 1 and goes through Monday, August 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and ends at 2 p.m. on Friday.
The camp is for students 11 to 14 years old and is $95 to enroll.
