No one injured in pickup truck fire in south Reno
RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
No one is injured after a pickup truck caught fire Saturday afternoon in south Reno.
Truckee Meadows Fire says at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 17, a pickup truck caught fire while driving on Torres Circle.
Officials say the driver heard a "pop," pulled over, and discovered a fire under the hood of the truck.
The driver, who didn't have a fire extinguisher, immediately called 911, officials say.
The flames spread up a nearby telephone pole and a resident's bush before crews arrived on scene and quickly extinguished the flames, according to Truckee Meadows Fire.
