      Motorcycle driver sustains serious injuries after hitting SUV

      UPDATE - 5:25PM - According to Chuck Allen with NHP, a 48-year-old motorcycle driver from Granite Bay, CA was driving on I-80 Eastbound near Mogul when he hit the rear portion of an SUV.

      After striking the SUV, the motorcycle deflected toward the center median, where the bike hit the guard rail and the driver was ejected.

      The driver sustained multiple injuries, with some being serious, but not life-threatening.

      The occupants in the SUV were not injured.

      Excessive speed may be a factor in the crash, Allen says.

      Nevada Highway Patrol tells News 4 that lanes all lanes on eastbound I-80 at Mogul are now open after a motorcycle crash this morning.
      RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) - Nevada Highway Patrol tells News 4 that one lane is blocked on eastbound I-80 at Mogul as a result of a motorcycle crash this morning.

      Troopers say the accident is not fatal but another vehicle that's described as a Toyota 4-Runner was involved in the crash.

      The motorcycle driver sustained very serious injuries.

      Nevada Highway Patrol has one lane blocked while investigating. It's unknown when they intend on re-opening the lane.
