Heller Responds to Nevada Unemployment Numbers

Washington, D.C.-( & KRNV) - U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) issued the following statement regarding the Nevada unemployment figures released earlier today:

"While I am pleased to see a decrease in our state's unemployment numbers, the rate still remains well above the national average. The people of Nevada are already struggling, and to add to their frustrations, they are beginning to see the negative effects of ObamaCare. Over the past few months, I have heard from people all across the Silver State that their health care costs are increasing, or worse, their plans have been cancelled.

"In 2010 President Obama said, 'If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.' Unfortunately, the stories I am hearing do not fit with the President's narrative. The people of Nevada have faced some difficult times. They deserve better, and they deserve to have a government that keeps its promises," said Senator Dean Heller.
