EXCLUSIVE: Syrian refugee says U.S. led airstrike isn't enough
SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
Syrian refugee Ahmad Zarour said the U.S. can do more to help the Syrian people escape violence.
He said the airstrike in Syria Friday was a good first step.
However, he said the U.S. has a responsibility as the most powerful country in the world to intervene more.
"We are prepared to sustain this pressure if the Syrian regime is foolish enough to test our will," said U.S. ambassador to the U.N., Nikki Haley, in a meeting Saturday.
In the meantime, the airstrike has Russian President Vladimir Putin warning of "global chaos."
