DAC applicants failing DMV tests

RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- The Nevada DMV is offering some advice for undocumented immigrants looking to get their Driver Authorization Cards: study. According to DMV officials, 75% of applicants have failed the written test.

Nevada is the eleventh state to allow undocumented citizens to apply for Driver Authorization Cards, similar to a driver's license. Since last week, thousands of undocumented citizens have applied for the card, but many have left empty-handed. Others were turned away due to over crowding.

Applicants must correctly answer 80% of 50 questions to pass the test, and pass a driving test as well.
