Nye County Sheriff's Office Detectives say on Apr. 9, 2013, they were told Michael Allen Mack sexually assaulted a vulnerable person. Upon further investigation, NCSO Detectives discovered Mack knew Arthur Gatzke was also sexually assaulting the vulnerable victim.
NCSO says that Mack attempted to keep the victim from reporting the crime. Mack was arrested and was booked into NCSO Detention on abuse of a vulnerable person, prevent/dissuade victim from reporting, and sexual assault of a vulnerable person.
NCSO says Gatzke knew of a third person sexually assaulting the victim. Gatzke also dissuaded the victim not to tell police and was booked on the same charges as Mack.
NCSO found out that George Quiroga was the third individual engaged in the sexual misconduct with the victim in this case. He was located and was also arrested and booked into NCSO Detention on the above charges.
NCSO says it is believed that Mack was friends with Gatzke and Quiroga and that is the connection with the victim. NCSO Detectives discovered that Mack in fact facilitated the contact between the victim and Gatzke and Quiroga.
All three suspects are in the Nye County Sheriff's Office Detention Center on the above charges pending bail.
