Carson City sheriff's deputies have arrested one of the suspects identified in a recent home burglary case in which several guns were stolen.

Captain Brian Humphrey said in a statement that authorities received an anonymous tip to look at an apartment in the 2700 block of Menlo Drive.

Officers arrived and found several people inside the apartment, some of whom were trying to hide. They found Ciera Scott, 22, hiding in a closet, and she was taken into custody for her outstanding warrant.

Scott was identified along with 30-year-old Jason Kunz as a suspect in a home burglary reported on Friday, Feb. 2, in the 1300 block of W. Washington Street. The sheriff's office said several firearms were taken during the burglary.

Four other people in the apartment were arrested on unrelated charges, but Kunz remains at large, Humphrey said.

Booking photos were not immediately available Wednesday.
