CARSON CITY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
Through several decades, Carson City had a major influence on the music scene, particularly through various rock & roll bands such as The Rolling Stones, KISS, Pink Floyd and The Doobie Brothers.
The company 'Stage Craft' opened on Mallory Way in the state capital in 1987 as an entertainment production support company.
Through 2002, owner John Procaccini and his team made more than 2,000 stages used for live performances by some of the most famous bands and musicians in the world.
The Carson City building his business worked out of was later purchased and used as the theater and multi-purpose facility for the Silver State Charter School.
