      Imperial Supplies is looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator in Reno, Nev.

      Imperial Supplies is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill an Inventory Control Coordinator Position at their Reno distribution center. Shift time is 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Minimum starting pay is $14.19 per hour.

      Under general supervision, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for record keeping and inventory accuracy. The position has responsibility for company asset control involving the reporting and investigation of finished packaged goods and product movement in/out of the center.

      • Responsible for coordinating all inventory cycle counts conducted on a regularly scheduled basis
      • Will research and resolve inventory discrepancies
      • Assist in space allocation with regards to cube usage, pick path and SKU ranking
      • Investigates and resolves all shipping/packaging errors and provides feedback as necessary on corrective actions
      • Assists in additional distribution tasks as needed
      • Have at least 2 years of warehouse/distribution knowledge
      • Possess a high degree of mathematical skills and be attentive to detail and accuracy
      • Be able to complete assigned responsibilities independently
      • Have strong verbal communication and problem solving skills
      • Have demonstrated leadership ability to direct and work with others effectively, and be able to coach and develop for team success
      • Use inventory system software and personal computer with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
      • Have demonstrated ability in operation of materials handling equipment
      • Must possess a valid state driver's license and maintain it at all times
      • Possess a high school diploma
      • Additional training and/or education in distribution, accounting, business, supply chain logistics or leadership is preferred
      • Requires significant time standing and walking
      • Requires normal speaking skills, vision, and hearing
      • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
      • Requires eye hand coordination and body dexterity to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, handle, climb, and balance
      • Ability to operate heavy industrial equipment to a height of 15 feet above floor level
      • Work is performed in an office and warehouse environment
      • Substantial amount of contact with employees
      • Ability to work extended hours on a periodic basis
