      The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is looking for an Airport Properties Specialist in Reno, Nev.

      The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority is seeking a professional, dependable, self-directed and highly motivated individual to be an integral part of a highly effective Airport Economic Development team, whose current strategic focus includes business development, market analysis, property absorption and leasing strategy, lead development and management, and contract administration and property management.

      The successful candidate for this position will have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals, be a self-starter with a positive attitude and be willing to work in multiple disciplines such as: property management, business development, customer relationship management, lease agreement and administration, compliance and enforcement, and a myriad of other associated projects and programs.

      ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
      • Cultivates positive tenant relations and communications
      • Facilitates tenant improvements through completion of projects
      • Tracks, analyzes and forecasts tenant revenues
      • Initiates, drafts and compiles lease contracts and exhibits and provides interpretation and oversight of lease terms and conditions
      • Participates in the negotiation of terms and conditions for leases, contracts, and other such agreements with existing and potential tenants
      • Monitors contract compliance including insurance, payment, rent adjustments and performance bonds
      • Facilitates the proposal, bid/award, lease process and permit documents by reviewing submissions, recommending awards and providing required documentation
      • Conducts research, statistical analysis and forecasting methods of market data
      • Produces and assembles Request for Information (RFI) packages
      QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in real estate management, business administration, marketing, aviation management or a closely related field
      • At least one (1) year in lease agreements, property management or experience in public administration related to business contracts/leases, program implementation and management
      • A valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment
      IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
      • At least two (2) years in airport properties or airport economic development, drafting and administering lease agreements and other airport-related documents, performing lease computations and adjustments, property management or real estate analysis, absorption and revenue forecasting in the commercial aviation industry
      • A strong background in drafting and finalization of airport leases, amendments, assignments, licenses, permits, RFPs, bids, and other airport/tenant-related documents
      • Ability to conduct research, collect and analyze data, arrive at logical conclusions, determine alternative courses of action, and make recommendations; make effective presentations of conclusions and recommendations orally and in writing
      • Write logical, comprehensive, concise reports and correspondence
      • Ability to prepare and monitor all aspects of the annual budget, to include and not be limited to, revenue forecasts, monthly reconciliation, economic development incentives
      • Ability to develop and maintain project or program databases for a myriad of information
      • Ability to exercise considerable independence and initiative in the administration of assigned program activities; receives general administrative direction
      • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
      • Exceptional project management skills
      • Excellent business sense and problem solving skills
      • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with airport tenants, fellow employees, and the community while maintaining organizational objectives
      • Demonstrated experience setting priorities, meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects with the ability to handle shifting priorities
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access or other database experience
